Mary-Anne's art studios in Australia and France
Mary-Anne has two contrasting art studios, both of which provide the peacefulness and environment to be her creative self.
Her Australian studio is located in the rural environment of a small township called Bungaree, 16 kilometres from Ballarat in Victoria and is approximately an hour from Melbourne. Bungaree, which is named after a very famous Aborigine, who accompanied Matthew Flinders in 1801-02 on the Investigator vessel which circumnavigated Australia and he also travelled to England. Mary-Anne's Bungaree studio is in the grounds of the property, separate to the home. There is also an old wooden miners cottage that was moved to the property in the 70s which has been transformed into a studio gallery.
Her French studio is located in the picturesque hills overlooking the Gorge de Tarn, outside of St Rome de Tarn in Aveyron, France. It is an old stone farmers barn (sheep on ground floor and hay on upper) which has been transformed into a wonderful living space with an art studio on the lower floor.
